Biography
Milly Miljkovic is a Visual Storyteller and Visual Researcher.
Her academic training began at the Liceo Artistico in Lugano, where she developed a deep interest in all art forms. Subsequently, she graduated from Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio. Her training continued at the Comics School of Comics and Illustration in Turin, where she refined an artistic approach characterised by her ability to integrate the different disciplines she had learnt, in order to build her own personal imaginary universe. This universe is defined by a meticulous, almost “obsessive” use of combinations of colours and geometric shapes, which stems from her desire to connect space, form and colour, a quest she is still pursuing today. 
Her professional career started in 2017, as a set designer for film projects, and in parallel she devoted increasing attention to audiovisual and illustration projects, which became increasingly important in her career path. In fact, she collaborates with major entities such as The Guardian, Adobe, various Swiss Research Institutes, SUPSI, Locarno Film Festival,            RSI (Radiotelevisione della Svizzera Italiana) and others. 
Since 2021, she has held the position of Lecturer in Production Design at the Conservatory of Audiovisual Sciences in Switzerland. As of 2023, she is Lecturer in Animation and Illustration at Centro Scolastico per le Industrie Artistiche in Lugano. As of 2025, she collaborates with the publishing house Istituto Editoriale Ticinese & Casagrande Edizioni for the Diario Scolastico della Svizzera Italiana. 
In recent months she has been working on her first short film entitled “Libella”, produced by AMKA Films and ULMI Film.  At the same time, she is pursuing editorial projects that interweave psychological, anthropological and ecological reflections with her visual research.
